If you think you know Nacey as just a solid producer on the rise, then look again. Now see him holding a guitar...expanding the notion of what makes a hit pop song.
COMPLEX MAGAZINE

Nacey produced Washington D.C. project MISUN make exhilarating power pop. June is invigorated by crazy guitar and frantic synth, those racing thoughts—Am I letting go? Was I ever in control?—are turned into an anthem for insomniacs.
THE FADER

Misun are confidently mellow, blending the singer's soulful and summery sentiments with Nacey's experimental electro-pop production. They once described themselves as 'aquawave', but the trio now enters an entirely different climate.
PITCHFORK MAGAZINE

Misun unearths slick handclap-laden pop for the dismal lyrics lover. Their want to groove while singing catchy hooks is what makes up their deliciously unavoidable tonic. The sound is a diverse collage of wicked 1960s rock, finger snapping doo-wop and throwback 1990s house.
SPIN MAGAZINE

We take our music very seriously. We don't put our stamp of approval on anything that we wouldn't load directly into our own iPod. So, you can trust the excitement we're bubbling over with in sharing the new Nacey-produced song by Misun, 'Eli Eli.'
REFINERY29

Nacey adds a monster of a track to his solo catalog with 'I Own It.' The latest from the DC-bred producer features vocals from none other than Angel Haze, and sounds like an explosive cross between Major Lazer and Nicki Minaj. This might be our favorite from him yet.
ALL THINGS GO

Nacey-produced Misun 'Superstitions' album is listed as one of the year's best albums by KCRW, Hillydilly and The Revue. KCRW calls 'the sound timeless, and band mysterious - without exception we love every one of their songs.'

Nacey productions MIA - 'Steppin Up' (Nacey Remix), La Roux - 'Bulletproof' (Nacey Remix), Misun - 'Harlot' and Misun 'After Me' earn #1 spots on Hype Machine's most popular charts - and Misun is awarded 'Most Blogged Artist' by the Hypem Zeitgeist.
THE HYPE MACHINE

Every summer, I have a new romance to carry me through to September and usually beyond. This time around, I've fallen for Misun. The band's members met while working at a restaurant in Washington, D.C., and their sound couldn't be less Dischord/Fugazi/Bad Brains. It's more rippling guitars and soft, smart beats with understated yet sharp production.

Lazerproof featured tracks in edited and mashed form not only from Major Lazer and La Roux themselves, but from Drake, Gucci Mane, Skream, Rusko, Heroes x Villains, and Nacey; it was simply ahead of it's time.
