One only has to eat Lorraine's cooking or baking once to know God has richly blessed her with a wonderful talent in the kitchen. Many people can do one or the other, but she excels at both. Not only this, but she "puts up" jam, peaches, many types of berries, etc. I could go on and on bragging about my wife's amazing culinary skills, but I'm probably considered biased anyway.
While I'm bragging, I'll add generous to her list of accolades, as she has decided to share her recipes here on line. I hope you enjoy them.

Welcome Maria!
As of 2005 I have begun to learn Italian. In 2006 I met Maria through
SKYPE - an Instant Message service that allows you to video-chat with folks for
free all around the world. Maria has been helping me learn Italian, and
has begun to share her recipes with Lorraine. As is the "Italian Way", she
has adopted us, and we have adopted her into our mutual families. Her
