ANNUAL UPDATE - 2006: We want to share our family with you and begin by saying that it has been a tumultuous year filled with blessings and sorrows. Michael continues to be an invaluable asset to Teletracking and we are so happy to have him there. Mike has increased his athletic pursuits and is playing more tennis, mountain and road biking. Nathan is beginning a new chapter with the start of a two year Radiology Tech course of study at Penn State. He moved into a condo near Oakmont and lives very close to Nina. Nate’s athletic pursuits are on hold after a mountain bike accident left him with a severe break to his wrist that required a plate and two surgeries. He is healing well, but it’ll take time. Nina had a life changing experience this year with the arrival of a new baby on March 27. His name is Ronin Lee Wilczek and is such a sweetheart. He is 9 months old and is very active. Links to our websites are on the bottom so you can see him. Nina moved back here from the Denver area in January and has a townhouse in the Ramparts near Nate. Nina has now been with Teletracking for five years and is making us all very proud with her achievements at work and in her life. Paul has begun EMT training and is enjoying Ronin just as much as Nina. He is a great papa. Nina and Paul do mountain and road riding when possible and Nina has renewed her interest in tennis. Deanna is a junior in high school and is involved in drama, show choir and ski club. She takes dance and has begun sewing and crocheting. Deanna is also beginning to learn Japanese. Christina is a freshman in high school and is happy with public school. She is ice skating three times a week and is an expert MySpace consultant. Christina loves photography and photography loves her. Gene is becoming fluent in Italian and has fallen in love with the country and culture. He took two trips to Italy this year and biked the Dolomites and the Piemonte areas. We were sorry to lose Gene’s mother last November, and this November Gene’s father also passed away. He left behind a lifetime of memories and stories that will not be forgotten. Gene’s company Tele-Tracking officially marked its 15th year this year, growing to a family of more than 150 employees. It’s come a long way since the “basement days”. Lorraine is just trying to keep up with kids, house, church, etc…. I went to Italy with Gene in September and had an amazing time. My sisters and I also spent two weeks in Hawaii – lots of sun and sand. I am still cooking a lot for the church and just to entertain. I also still sing on the worship team. So, we wish you all a wonderful holiday season and new year in the prayers and hopes that God will bless you as abundantly as He has blessed us. ANNUAL UPDATE 2005 - Well another year has almost passed and we have been given new life and renewed life. Michael marked his fifth year at Teletracking and is still living near Pittsburgh. Gene, Nate, Gene Sr., and he went on a week long mountain bike excursion from Banff, Canada to Rooseville, Montana this fall. Nate is attending classes at Pitt to prepare for a possible degree in Occupational or Physical Therapy. Nate is moving closer to us soon, to a condo just above Oakmont. Nina will be moving from Colorado, hopefully soon, to the same area as Nate, and is still working at Teletracking. She and Paul are expecting a baby boy in March, so we have much to look forward to. Deanna is in 10th grade and is on the student council, and is involved with ski club, drama, and chorus. She and Christina both dance at a local dance studio. Christina is in 8th grade and has started figure skating. She goes to Cheswick Christian Academy and still snowboards if it isn’t too much effort. Gene had a year of ups and down, winning the Western PA/Upper New York State, Entrepreneur of the Year award. He went to the French Open in Paris, and was so inspired that he competed in some USTA seniors tournaments here in the states and placed in the top 100 (87th) in the country, and 9th in the middle states division. Gene also won two mountain bike races this year. Unfortunately, Gene’s mother was involved in a serious auto accident in October and went to be with her loved ones in Heaven. We are sure that she is hanging eucalyptus on every wall of her mansion. Lorraine is doing fine and took a few trips to Yellowstone, Italy, Colorado, Minnesota, and Las Vegas. The Italy trip with Gene was just amazing, and we have already signed up for another next year. We like the idea of a honeymoon every year. We are all still very active in our church where Gene is the worship leader. I am a member of the worship team and help organize various church dinners, and special events like our teen challenge “cook for a day” trips. We stay pretty busy, and God is blessing us with every step we take. He is truly our reason for living. |
